Wrapped around me, in layers and drapes, lay words and phrases and alphabet shapes. They kiss my ears, my toes and my arms, keeping me tickled and happy and warm.

Self Esteem
The enemy
within
is worse than anything

The fighting and biting and
acid words
hissed in my ear
sound so
true
as though no other person
in the world
could know better.

It's me. I love you. Stop listening to Pots and Pans Julia.
ReplyDeleteWhy is it that we are so often our own worst enemies? And we find it so difficult to listen to those who know and love us best? Love
